Nadal, the 20 time Grand slam winner, is playing in Madrid right now and will be facing the twenty-one year old Aussie Alexei Popyrin for a place in the Quarter-finals of the competition. The young challenger Alexei Popyrin perhaps realizes that tennis alone will not do it against Rafael Nadal so he has brought in some of the famous Aussie banter.
Popyrin has said that he will watch the 2009 French Open match between Rafael Nadal and Robin Soderling to try and pick some similarities between his game and Soderling’s and use that against Nadal in their round of sixteen encounter.

Popyrin by invoking that match has thrown out an open challenge to the King of Clay, now we must wait and watch as the match unfold. Alexei Popyrin said, “I will probably watch a little bit of his 2009 French Open loss against Soderling. Maybe I can get some tips from there. I see similarities between my game and Soderling’s.”
