Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan engaged in a verbal battle over Twitter about their fight at UFC 256

The UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan and the number one contender for the title Aljamain Sterling get involved in a heated argument on Social media regarding the outcome of their fight at UFC 256 which is the main event of the day on December 12th.

Yan was recently crowned as the champion after Henry Cejudo announced his retirement. Petr ‘No Mercy’ Yan faced Jose Aldo for the title fight at UFC 251 and emerged as the champion. This is going to be the first title defense for Yan after winning the title.

Both of these took the route of Twitter to debate that who will hold the belt after the fight at UFC 256. The fight started when ‘Funk Master’ tweeted and tagged Yan in which he says,

“Petr Yan knows I’m a tough fight and I know Petr is a tough fight. At the end of the day, someone has to lose and that’s just the sport. I can’t wait to see who is right and who is wrong on December 12”.

As soon as Sterling pointed fingers at Yan he replied him back saying, “Why you care about what I think of you so much? Stop telling people what I know. All I know is I’m putting you to sleep on December 12.”

‘Funk Master’ returned the favor by a tweet in which he says, “A real student of the game becomes his opponent to understand the ways that he can win. Good luck, safe fight, and see you! I’ll bring beers to your room and we can talk about how I did it”.

Heading into his first title defense Petr Yan wouldn’t want Sterling to enter into his mind but Funk Master is trying to do this.
