Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad collided for the main event of UFC Vegas 21. The Fight Night was rather eventful with knockouts and submissions up until the main event. The main event came to a disappointing end. The bout ended in a ‘No contest’ as the English striker, Leon accidentally eye-poked his rival, Belal. The fight was called off which led to a flurry of Twitter reactions from the big names.

Aljamain Sterling who last week witnessed a historical championship win by disqualification had his say on the disappointing main event fight between Belal and Leon. The bantamweight champion believes that there needs to be a revised pair of gloves in the UFC.

The Brazilian welterweight contender, Gilbert Burns was disgusted with the way the find ended and tweeted it out by saying, “Nasty eye poke.”

The UFC Bossman, Dana White himself was in disbelief that the fight had to end this way. It is now the second time in two weeks that an uneventful action has taken place in the Main card.

UFC/MMA reporters, Brett Okamoto and Ariel Helwani also tweeted out about the event.

The new UFC prospect, Jamahal Hill thinks Leon was doing the eye poke for the entire fight.
