Imane Khelif has once again become the center of controversy. An old gender test result of the Algerian boxer claiming to be a biological male was published for the first time. Social media went bonkers over this.
The Olympic gold medalist came under severe backlash during the 2024 Paris Games. In 2023, Khelif was disqualified from the International Boxing Association (IBA) from the World Boxing Championships.
The IBA claimed that she failed a test that showed she did not meet the rules to compete as a woman. The IBA, however, did not provide clear results, which led the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to later call their decision unfair.
As a result of this, the boxer was allowed to compete in the Paris Games due to her passport claiming her to be a female. While the internet continued to debate regarding Khelif’s gender, the boxer went on to win gold at the Olympic Games.
On Sunday, a failed gender test report of Khelif went viral on social media. As per reports, the old gender test was seemingly conducted during the 2023 World Championships in New Delhi, India.

Former NCAA Swimmer Riley Gaines would take to her X account to express her frustration regarding this. While sharing a screenshot of a report from The Telegraph, the activist would take a shot at the boxer and all those who supported her.
To all the people that insisted Imane Khelif was a woman because his passport said so, You were wrong. We were right. Sincerely, People with functioning eyes and a shred of honesty

Internet explodes as alleged old gender test of Imane Khelif goes viral

A man won the Olympic gold medal for women’s boxing and everyone was lied to. Where are the feminist?

People were defending him hard on Facebook. They would be vicious to anyone pointing out he was a guy. I hope all those people choke hard on this news.

It was so annoying getting lectured about this 🙄

I have nothing against trans, I haver everything against trans men competing with women. Notice you never see women who transitioned to 'male' trying to compete with men.
Pretty sure this will always be the most disgusting Olympics in Olympic history.

now he should be arrested for asaaulting women

The Olympic medal should be returned and the Olympic committee owes a public apology to the women they forced to participate in this farce.

He should be stripped of his medal. In the balance of fairness how is a biological advantage any different than an advantage created through steroids or other enhancers? If the latter is banned and not tolerated, the former should be too.

The Olympics should remove him from the records.

Revoke his medals and prosecute the board members who risked the safety of female athletes for the political stunt.

This also comes around 36 hours after the World Boxing released new rules. As per the new rules, Khelif would need to undergo sex screening to be eligible for any future appearances in the female category.
Riley Gaines takes aim at Imane Khelif for not taking sex testing for future events
As per the new rules released by the World Boxing, it will be mandatory for Imane Khelif to undergo a sex test if the boxer wishes to participate in future events. Riley Gaines, who has been a huge activist against the inclusion of transgender athletes in women’s sports, would take aim at Khelif for not taking this test.

Khelif was previously expected to part in the Eindhoven Box Cup, which is scheduled to take place from June 5 to 10. The Olympic champion will have to undergo tests from now on to participate in such events.
Gaines would question Khelif regarding this delay and took a shot at the boxer from her X account.
World Boxing has deemed Imane Khelif—a male who took an Olympic gold from a woman— ineligible from competing in female boxing. The ban stands unless he submits to a cheek swab required of all boxers proving XX chromosomes. The real question: Why won’t Imane Khelif take the test?

Khelif has so far not made any comments regarding this. It remains to be seen how the gold medalist would react to this matter.
