Not many will argue that even if Mick Schumacher is able to achieve anything close to what his father, Michael Schumacher did, he has surely made it big in the Formula 1. Having to live up to the expectations of a lot of people on his shoulders, Mick Schumacher is ready to battle it out against the big guns on the tracks.  AlphaTauri Boss, Franz Tost reveals his opinion on young F2 Champion, Mick. The former talks about him having traits of Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel

Will Mick make it big like his father? Is a speculation that has many years to be answered. But one can’t take away the fact that a young, bright and energetic is about to knock on the doors of the F1 with full force.

“Michael Schumacher had this trait and Sebastian Vettel too” Franz Tost on Mick Schumacher

Speaking about the attributes required to make a world-class driver, Tost said (translated via Google), “A driver must first have passion. He has to be disciplined and also be innovative.

“A pilot should always ask himself the following questions: What can I do better? How can I be better than the others? Michael Schumacher was like that, Sebastian Vettel too. Incidentally, I also see this approach with Mick Schumacher.”

Mick Schumacher will be suiting up for Haas this year. The American team don’t have high hopes for the season and it’s likely they’ll be racing at the back of the grid.

Comparing Mick to two German drivers that have won a combined 11 world titles between them may seem a bold call. Indeed, fans won’t know what to expect of him in F1 until he gets a good, solid car to drive. And that’s not going to be happening anytime soon.

With a lot of expectations on his shoulders already, Mick has a lot to learn in his rookie days. But there are more positives than negatives to take for Mick in his new journey in the F1.
