AMD Skyesports Souvenir LAN: Enigma set a fear in the minds of Global eSports with an awe-inspiring performance
The first match for the Skyesports Souvenir has concluded and with an exhilarating third map between Global eSports and Enigma Gaming and what a match it was!
With Enigma Gaming taking the first map with a landslide score and GE striking right back in the next one, a third map was imminent.
Skyesports Souvenir Match 1 Post Match Analysis
The match concluded in an amazing 2-1 series with Enigma Gaming ending on top at the AMD Skyesports Souvenir 2022 Mumbai. Though Global eSports put up an amazing fight against Enigma Gaming, they will now have to put up an even better one as they go against their arch nemeses, Velocity Gaming, in the next match tomorrow.
Map 1 : Bind
The first map of Bind started off very strong for Enigma as they gained a 5 round lead over Global eSports. Global staggered to win rounds and it was an easy victory for Enigma.
The agent picks for both teams seemed pretty unconventional as we saw excali pick Yoru which he hadn’t even played more than once in competitive play and rawfiul, the default Jett player, on Chamber which seems to be an obvious replacement for Jett due to his quick movement abilities.
Global eSports tried a new comp with Rossi on Chamber as well which did seem like Rossi was able to play as he ended up on the top of the leaderboard of his team but it was to no
Enigma was also able to take away both the pistol rounds from GE which gave GE a bad start to their economies in both halves giving them the worse hand both times.

Map 2 : Ascent
In the second map, we saw Global eSports making an amazing comeback for maps while Rossi led the fragging charge for GE while Rexy on Killjoy top fragged for Enigma Gaming.
We saw Jett and Sova both make a return on the floating Italian Island of Ascent which gave us a feel of what is now soon going to be “the good old days”. Rossi picked up Jett being the default Jett player of GE while rawfiul did the same for his team.
We saw skillZ make a return to Astra after the huge nerf that she received and it would be an understatement to say that he played well.
In the end, Global eSports dominated the second map and took it away with a 13-8 Victory making it a smooth and easy win to bring it up to a 1-1 in the best of three series.
Map 3 : Split
Amazing plays coming in by both the teams taking it to not single, not double, but TRIPLE over time. We saw people bouncing around with the operators as if they were a cheap commodity while they decided not to give shields half the importance that they deserve.
As Rossi turned top the Frenchman this time around yet again, rawfiul decided to stay on the tried and tested but recently nerfed Jett. Both fraggers performed outstandingly and did what they were expected to. However, Lightningfast on a duelist like Raze who is known for being an absolute menace on Split could’ve utilised his abilities better.
Antidote gave an appreciable performance on Omen. It is one thing to play a duelist and bag kills, and another to pick a controller, and get the most amount of kills in a game while your other teammates perform as well.
It was Global eSports who carried the initial momentum in this game but it would seem that the 9-3 curse caught on to them and when the match ended after going to triple overtime, it was Enigma Gaming who came out on top of their formidable opponents, Global eSports.
