Sanrio Amiibo cards on Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Amiibo cards are an interesting inclusion in the Animal Crossing New Horizons. They are a set of six cards that allow players to add Sanrio Villagers and the respective items to the island. As a result, players can easily customize and alter their island. The Amiibo cards are likely to be available starting from March 26, 2021.

The Amiibo cards will be available exclusively on Target for players in the US. Each card will cost up to $5.99 in the same. However, it was earlier informed that the cards will not be available for pre-order. Moreover, players can acquire villagers using the previously owned cards as well.

Steps to Obtain the Sanrio Items

The Sanrio items include furniture and other related items that pop up in the Nook Shopping app soon after the players scan an Amiibo card. However, players are restricted to inviting one villager and purchasing up to five items a day. These items improve the appearance and overall impression of the island. Here are the steps to purchase the Sanrio items in Animal Crossing New Horizons:

  1. The first step is to open the Nook Shopping App.
  2. Click on ‘Special Offers’.
  3. The next step is to navigate to the Promotion tab.
  4. The screen will now show a list of items for the players to purchase.
