Andrew Tate, a controversial social media personality, has slammed the guilty verdict in Conor McGregor‘s civil trial for assault. On Friday, UFC superstar McGregor was found liable for the assault of Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in 2018. The jury’s verdict came after an 11-day trial, during which Hand and her team provided extensive details on the matter.
McGregor claims to have done no wrongdoing and will even appeal the decision. Meanwhile, Tate is himself fighting a number of criminal charges. Mostly relating to assault, human trafficking, and the formation of an organized criminal group.
Tate penned a statement on McGregor’s trial on X, which has become his platform of choice. Not only did he throw his support behind the Irishman, but he also questioned the validity of the charges as a bias against wealthy defendants.
The so-called man of the “manosphere” Tate’s testimony is sure to be controversial, as it often is. Both he and his brother Tristan have maintained their innocence in their own legal battles. They also often claim to be the victims of a global conspiracy. Now, he comes to McGregor’s aid despite a lack of a public relationship. Probably to tout his own kind of innocence.
Bullshit ruling against Conor Mcgregor.

Women sleep with rich men and if that man doesn't fund their life afterwards they lie and sue.
Their brutal narcissism can't take the L of being undesired.
We've set a dangerous precedent.

However, his blatant vocab of “women bad, rich men good” will again stir the pot. In fact, his overturning of the guilty verdict will only do further damage to the Irishman’s tarnished image. The question on many people’s minds is: Will McGregor ever be able to escape the downward spiral he has been on for some time now? If it were Andrew Tate, the kickboxer would say yes. ‘Mac’ himself has also doubled down on it.
Conor McGregor doubles down on his claim of innocence in a follow-up statement
Hand and her team, with testimony from a doctor and a psychologist, claimed that McGregor had “abused/battered” her. McGregor, for his part, argued that the s*x with Nikita Hand was consensual but said “sex with me was athletic, physical.” Ultimately, the Dublin High Court jury ordered the UFC star to pay Hand and upwards of €248,603.60 (around $258,440).
In the aftermath of the verdict, McGregor was quick to issue a statement saying he intends to appeal the decision. McGregor has since deleted his initial tweet. But on Saturday the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion again went on a tweet-and-delete spree.
James Lawrence, the other defendant, was found not guilty by the jury. The Dubliner is billing that as a win and as a true mark of justice. But McGregor and Lawrence made a concerted effort to make Lawrence look guilty, according to Nikita Hand’s attorney.
He posted a lengthy response to the verdict, calling the trial a “kangaroo court” and insisting that the entire charge was a lie. Speaking on Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTE), McGregor has always hinted at a shake-up of Irish litigation. Mac and his proactive assertion against the workings of government seemingly shot off riots.
He did not even care for the rift with the Gardaí or the opposition from the Tánaiste and teased a 2025 presidential bid. There was always a notion that he was untouchable, until now. “The Notorious” was due to make his much-anticipated return at UFC 303 earlier this year. Current conditions might see that return stagger a bit further, but the fighter himself touts that he is innocent.
