Andy Murray donates 20k meal kits ‘As Promised’ as he takes on Nick Kyrgios’ #MessFreeChallenge

Andy Murray, former World No.1, took part in the #MessFreeChallenge with utter enthusiasm. He also declared on twitter that he was going to donate 20,000 meal kits via Fare Share. The Scot choose a charity fighting hunger and food waste by redistributing good-quality food to those in need.

Murray has often been deemed as a global role model and his promptness in sharing friend Nick Kyrgios’ positive message to help provide surplus food to charities further solidifies this notion. 

The Scot posted a video on twitter with the caption, “As promised, a more difficult oldelpasouk #MessFreeChallenge than Nick Kyrgios. We are also donating 20,000 meal kits via fareshareuk. Time for Gael Monfils, Elina Svitolina, Heather Watson and LeonSmith to show us what they’ve got!

In that clip Murray said, ”Hey, Nick. Thanks for nominating me for the oldelpasouk #MessFreeChallenge. Your looked a little bit easy, so I’m gonna try something a bit harder. I’m gonna do it with 2. I nominate Elina Svitolina, Gael Monfils and Heather Watson. Let’s see you got.”

Nick Kyrgios Takes Initiative To Provide Aid To The Famished

On September 15th, Nick Kyrgios kicked off the #MessFreeChallenge by nominating Lleyton Hewitt, former World No.1 and ATP Cup team-mate. He also tagged footballer and boxer Tayla Harris, a compatriot to participate in it.

The Aussie, Nick Kyrgios’ foundation, ‘NK Foundation’ and Old El Paso Australia are collaborating together to donate 10K Mex meal kits to Food Bank Australia amid this ongoing pandemic plus one more for every time his own video is shared of the #MessFreeChallenge.
