‘Sir’ Andy Murray recently took to social media to comment on some exciting developments revolving around his mother, Judy Murray. The 64-year-old Murray was a former tennis player and a coach for over 20 years and still decided to hold a racket in her hand.
However, this time it was not a tennis racket, but a pickleball one. Judy would be competing at the upcoming Aldred Dunhill Padel Classic that is set to take place in Hurlingham from the 15th and 16th of May. The Brit had posted a picture of herself being announced for the tournament with a sly comment.
Got talked into playing in the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic at Hurlingham next week. The tennis court is way too big for me these days.Judy Murray wrote on X

If mother Murray posts a new picture, her son Andy is bound to comment. He made a hilarious remark that got the fans smiling.

While Murray hopes to recover before Wimbledon, his mother is playing pickleball at the age of 64. She will play to raise funds for disadvantaged children around the world.
Judy Murray reacts to a tribute video for Andy Murray
Judy Murray, the mother of Andy Murray, was the coach for the British pro in his childhood days. Although, now she does not coach him, she is still keeping a close eye on her son’s career.

Recently, Judy reposted a tribute video for her son on X. The video brilliantly showcased the impact Andy had on British tennis. He had single-handedly brought back a major reputation for Britain in the sport and also ended the 77-year drought for his country by beating Novak Djokovic in the 2013 Wimbledon Finals. Murray’s mother had reacted to this with a ‘love heart’ emoji, hinting at her son’s retirement.
However, as Murray gets older, his form is dropping rapidly, and he spends more time on the sidelines due to recurring injuries. A few months ago, the Scot had suffered two major ankle injuries which put him in a race against time, given that it is his last year on tour.
