Donald Trump alleged ‘massive cheating’ in the state of Pennsylvania without providing any details about it ahead of the poll closures in the state. Later, the claims were rejected by the US election officials as they claimed voting in Philadelphia had been safe.

Andy Murray has now responded to Trump’s claims as he took a slight dig at him. On Wednesday (November 6), he took to X and reacted to a clip of radio show host Alex Jones, who was talking about Trump’s claims of fraud in Philadelphia. He had posted the video a day before Trump was declared the 47th United States President.

Murray has often mocked Trump for his comments. In 2017, Trump claimed that he turned down the opportunity to be Time’s ‘Person of the Year’. Murray took to X and imitated Trump by joking that he also turned down the chance to be BBC’s ‘sports personality of the year’.

Then in 2018, he seemingly took a dig at the 47th US President about freedom of speech after landing in Washington D.C. This time, when Murray heard about Trump’s claim of electoral fraud, with two laughing emoticons, the Scot declared that his statement ‘did not age well.’

For now, I know that almost everyone in the world wants to be present for his farewell. Novak Djokovic has said that he wants to be there. Also, Andy Murray wants to be there. Also, there are many more who want to be there and I don’t know if we are going to have seats for everyone.

Nadal will join the 37-year-old on the retirement list after the latter called time on his career following his Paris Olympics exit. The Spaniard, who last met Murray in the semifinals of the 2016 Madrid Open, has locked horns with him 24 times and leads 17-7 in their head-to-head record.
