Andy Murray has been struggling to compete consistently on the tour as he is battling injuries. However, despite all the struggles, Murray has not lost the will to fight as he tries to stage a comeback on clay after suffering a serious injury in Miami. The 36-year-old teased his fans with a practice video on social media.

As the second Grand Slam tournament of the season – the French Open approaches, Murray has started practicing on clay to challenge the current stalwarts of the game at the prestigious tournament. The Briton dropped a video on social media that showed him practicing on a clay court.

Murray is seen hitting a few forehands and perfecting it before he gets into the real competition. He is also heard bringing out loud grunts as he hits all those forehands. The video was shared on Instagram by the official handle of Tennis TV. Check it out below.

As the video of Andy Murray practicing on clay court went viral on social media platforms, reactions from fans started pouring in. Everyone seemed excited about the prospects of the Briton returning to the French Open for one last dance.

Notably, Murray was ruled out of tennis action at the Miami Open as he suffered a full rupture of his anterior talofibular ligament and near full thickness rupture of his calcaneofibular ligament. He suffered the injury during his marathon match against Tomas Machac which he eventually lost.

As a result, Murray missed out on the Monte Carlo Masters as well as the Barcelona Open. The Briton was also absent in the Madrid Open. Nevertheless, he has been named on the entry list for the 2024 Roland Garros, and as already seen, the 36-year-old is working hard to make it count.
