Andy Robertson plays 97 minutes for Scotland indicating that he is fit for Liverpool
Andy Robertson’s return is just the good news Liverpool would’ve been hoping to hear

This will be a major source of relief for Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp and all their fans. Andy Robertson played the whole 90 minutes plus 7 extra minutes for Scotland. Scotland lost the match 1-0 to Israel but it has no effect as this was just their last friendly of this year. Robertson will travel to Liverpool where he’ll get his rest before playing Leicester on November 23.

One less injury for Liverpool

He would’ve been the 16th different injured person for Liverpool had he remained injured. Now it seems like Andy Robertson isn’t injured as he played the whole match against Israel. Liverpool fans will heave a collective sigh as they have another senior defender beside Joel Matip. It would’ve been disastrous had Robertson remained injured as it would mean that Liverpool’s entire first choice defense would’ve been injured.

Joe Gomez is confirmed to miss a long period of the season with some reports saying the season is over him. That would mean that Liverpool’s first choice centre-back pairing would be absent at the same time. Trent Alexander Arnold, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara face a race against time to be fit for the Atalanta game. Mohamed Salah is confirmed to miss the Leicester game as he tested positive for Coronavirus.
