Andy Robertson’s attempt to scream at Mason Greenwood in order to put him off is hilarious at best and takes his shithousery to another level
Manchester United hosted Liverpool at Old Trafford in the FA Cup 4th Round, with the winners going on to face West Ham United. Liverpool finally broke their goal drought and it was none other than Mohamed Salah who did it as he scored the opener from a delightful Roberto Firmino throughball. However in the end Manchester United had Marcus Rashford to thank as he set up a goal for Mason Greenwood and scored one himself. Mohamed Salah equalized with his second goal but it was Manchester United who came out victors as Bruno Fernandes scored a beautiful free-kick.
Andy Robertson screaming at Mason Greenwood is a unique highlight of the first half
Paul Pogba won the ball in his own half and the ball was fed to Marcus Rashford, who lofted a crossfield pass over the entire Liverpool defense to Greenwood. Andy Robertson was close behind Greewood and like many kids who play football, screamed at Greenwood to put him off-balance. Unfortunately it didn’t work and Mason Greenwood equalized for Manchester United after Salah had scored. The tactic used by Robertson was hilarious to watch as no one expects professionals to do that.
As kids a lot of us try to use this scare tactic in a lot of games like football, basketball and kabaddi and it isn’t expected to see professionals to do that. However Andy Robertson has shown himself not to be averse to shithousery now and then and you should ask none other than Lionel Messi that. Back in May 2019 when Liverpool and Barcelona were playing the second leg of the 2018/19 Champions League semi-finals at Anfield, Fabinho pulled off a stupendous tackle on Lionel Messi.
While Messi protested for a yellow card to be shown, Andy Robertson shoved his head down and told him to play on. Messi was agitated by this but could do nothing as the referee didn’t bother with it. Robertson’s battle with Suarez was entertaining to watch, though the former had to be replaced at half time when Suarez kicked out at him. Gini Wijnaldum was subbed in and as they say, the rest is history.
