American tennis legend Andy Roddick is not at all liking the posts on social media claiming that former US President Donald Trump‘s assassination attempt was a staged one. In fact, Roddick took it upon himself to put a break to the conspiracy theories as the former ATP No. 1 asked netizens to stop.
On July 13, American citizens witnessed one of the worst days in their election history as a presidential candidate was fired upon at a political rally. As Trump was addressing his supporters at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, quite a few shots were fired and, as per the viral footage from the rally, one bullet pierced the former POTUS’s upper part of his right ear.
As soon as the shots were fired, Trump’s security personnel rushed to the stage to get him off. The 78-year-old was seen holding his right ear with some blood visibly coming out. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) claims to have already identified and killed the shooter, a 20-year-old local man. However, the agency has yet to comment on the claims made by Trump about his being shot.
Meanwhile, social media is abuzz with conspiracy theories, with Trump’s critics claiming it was a staged act from the former US President. With hundreds of posts amplifying the narrative, some came across Andy Roddick, who immediately asked such people to stop.

Donald Trump claims being shot in right ear
While details about Donald Trump‘s assassination attempt are awaited, the former US President, in his social media statement, claimed that he had sensed that something was wrong beforehand. Trump further claimed that he had been shot in his right ear.
The 78-year-old took to social media, Trush Social, to talk about the incident in detail. Trump extended his thanks to the Secret Service for their prompt action and also extended his condolences to the family of the one killed person. The former US President then talked about his injury.
Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden also condemned the incident saying there was no place for violence. Among the names to condemn the incident was also Elon Musk. The Tesla CEO endorsed Trump and demanded the sacking of the Secret Service head for such a huge lapse.
