With a match point available, there was not much Swiatek could do. However, after saving the point, she managed to win the match and continue to defend her title at the French Open. After the match, she sat on her bench and cried inconsolably, proving just how much the match was worth.

Try to tell me Iga doesn’t care. This was a second-round match at a tournament she’s already won three times. This is sports. You fight, you survive, and then you become human again. Rinse, repeat.

After this, Swiatek got back to her old routine of dominating and beating her third-round opponent in straight sets. Another day and another victory for the Pole, who continues to inch towards her 5th Grand Slam title.
