Recently, there has been much debate about Novak Djokovic‘s chances of winning a Grand Slam this year. The Serbian star has struggled with form, losing earlier than expected in several tournaments.

At the recently concluded French Open, he suffered a nasty meniscus tear and might miss a whole Grand Slam of grass. He was forced to withdraw in the quarter-final of the French Open and immediately went into operation. However, many still believe the Serbian can come back and win a couple more Slams. Even Andy Roddick and Eugenie Bouchard agreed with the same in a recent interview at the Tennis Channel Live.

During the Live, the former American World No.1 was asked if he thinks Djokovic will add to his major title tally.

Yeah, if I had to bet on it, I’d say yes. Listen, what you’re asking us to predict is health and motivation, right? The game, he can still play.
Andy Roddick said during the Tennis Channel live

Furthermore, Roddick emphasized that time is undefeated and is catching up with Djokovic, who is no longer young. Surgeries earlier in the year have also made it difficult for Djokovic to regain his form for the remainder of the season.

Eugenie Bouchard is confident that Novak Djokovic will win a couple more slams

I think he can get two more, and I don’t think there’s ever gonna be the lack of motivation because we see that from him right now
Eugenie Bouchard said

Djokovic recently flew to Wimbledon and started practice on the grass after the injury. Now, there is more confidence in his return, but nothing has been assured yet. The Serbian is set to make a decision after practicing on the court. However, his main goal is still the Olympics, and hopes to make it to the games to play for his country.
