Ange Postecoglou has had a rough week at the helm of Tottenham Hotspur, especially dealing with the fact that the club is winless in the last five games. While his frustration stems from the lack of victories, most of it was directed towards German striker Timo Werner.

The No. 16 was subbed off at the start of the second half, with the manager giving a scathing remark after the game. However, in a press conference that followed, the manager has seemingly put his anger aside.

The manager also said that usually there is a price to pay when players have a poor game. However, in the current situation, such penalties do not ‘exist.’ Fans have concluded that Postecoglou will soon get rid of Werner and questioned how bad the German had to be to make the boss lose his cool.

Spurs’ next games look like a serious challenge, with games against Manchester United, Liverpool, and Wolves in December.

I’m here. I’m in for the fight. For the better of worse, I’m not going anywhere at the moment because everything is still in my power and responsibility.

The manager claimed that he still has tremendous desire to get his side out of this difficult situation. With 20 points from 15 games, Tottenham is in 11th position in the Premier League.

While Postecoglou continues to show confidence in his team and his role at Spurs, fans have begun to run out of patience. The manager, however, claims that he ‘loves’ a fight and to be in the middle of a storm, even when everyone doubts. Spurs’ situation is similar in the Europa League, with 11 points from six games placing the club ninth in the standings.
