Angel Di Maria scored three goals in the first 18 minutes of the match. He opened the scoring with a curling effort from inside the penalty box in just the second minute. The veteran’s second goal was a spectacular strike, coming just three minutes later.
The Argentine completed his hat trick soon after when he received the ball from Fredrik Aursnes inside the penalty area and dribbled it past an opposition defender to score with his right foot. Di Maria also assisted Kerem Akturcoglu in the 59th minute.
It was the ex-PSG forward’s second goal that left fans mesmerized. In the fourth minute of the match, Estrela’s keeper missed a clearance and Di Maria seized the ball. He controlled it to set himself up for an impressive overhead kick.
