Angel Reese‘s podcast Unapologetically Angel is much known for the unexpected guests the Chicago Sky star brings. This time around was no different as she sat down with WNBA veteran Skylar Diggins-Smith. Reese took advantage of the opportunity as she pulled up some hard-hitting questions about the WNBA and motherhood going together.

Seattle Storm player Skylar Diggins-Smith is one of the very few players in the WNBA who came back to the league after having kids. In the episode of Unapologetically Angel, she sat down with Angel Reese to have a filterless conversation on life in the league.

The Sky star enquired Diggins-Smith concerning herself over the possibility of not being able to bounce back after giving birth. She also echoed her sentiments about the very real apprehension with people.

Furthermore, Diggins-Smith expressed her excitement to be able to play in the Unrivaled. Fully in shape, the six-time WNBA All-Star was all ready to bump heads with Reese and other players. Both athletes agreed on the fact that the Unrivaled has forced the WNBA to a new level. Diggins-Smith is paired up with the Lunar Owls Basketball Club meanwhile Reese dribbles for the Rose Basketball Club.

With the league already having made its debut, the two showcased stellar performances. Skylar Diggins-Smith led her team to an 84-80 win against the Mist BC. She scored 10 points and two clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter of the thrilling match. Meanwhile, Angel Reese was not short of any of her regular energy in her debut, however, the team was unsuccessful in winning over the Vinyl BC.

Angel Reese has customized Rose sneakers for the Unrivaled

Angel Reese’s fashion game never fails to catch the eyes of her followers. With her debut in the Unrivaled League, the Sky star unveiled a pair of customized sneakers on Wednesday. In her Instagram story, Reese reposted a post by Marvin Baroota featuring her sneakers.

The dunks, green Reeboks, were covered in tiny pink roses, tributing her current team. Tagging her Unrivaled team she added a rose emoji beside the post. Baroota is known for making customized shoes for athletes, especially in the NFL.

Likely so, this wasn’t the first collaboration of the SoLegit Customs’ owner and Angel Reese. Matter of fact, he has been designing Reese’s shoes since her first game in the WNBA. Back in June, she also gave him a shoutout when asked by the reporters about her unique footwear.
