Angel Reese ‘needs to sit her a** down’ amidst beef with Taylor Swift fans, claims rapper
Rapper Joe Budden had some stern words for WNBA and Chicago Sky star Angel Reese after her beef with Taylor Swift's fans.
Chicago Sky and WNBA star Angel Reese drew the ire of fans of Taylor Swift after her recent podcast
Even after the end of her WNBA rookie season, Angel Reese has not stopped working. Be it appearing at NFL games, hosting her podcast, or even visiting and working with endorsement partners. The Chicago Sky star is doing it all as she tries to build her brand.
In the midst of all this, the young star came under fire from fans of musical artist Taylor Swift. Knowing what the narrative is being discussed on social media right now, the panel on The Joe Budden Podcast brought up her topic. After finding out that Angel Reese was recently on Wild N Out, American rapper Joe Budden had some advice for her.
Reese drew the ire of Taylor Swift’s fans after hosting Kayla Nicole on her podcast. To make it worse, she tweeted about ‘hate’ making her money. Budden and his crew said that she did not know what she was getting into.
This comes after she talked herself up throughout the WNBA season about how she, alongside Caitlin Clark, was responsible for helping the league grow. Budden and his crew opined that the people in Angel Reese‘s corner were not advising her properly.
Angel Reese has been a part of all hate-related narratives in women’s basketball
Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark first collided in the 2023 NCAA Championship game. Reese’s taunts that day set the stage for the narrative that has fueled their supposed rivalry. At the time, those taunts thrust her into a different altitude, when it came to fame and fortune.
At the same time, it came with some hate which she had to deal with. Coming into the WNBA, she tried to clarify that she did not have any hate for her fellow rookie. But her actions on the court suggested she felt otherwise.
Time and again, the Chicago Sky star has been either at the forefront or a part of any race or other form of misogynistic narrative that involved Clark. After finishing her rookie season on the injured list, she could not continue her Rookie of the Year competition with Clark. Joe Budden and his panel feel that Angel Reese should have used that quiet time to douse the flames she has had a hand in spreading.
