Angel Reese caught off-guard as ‘flirty’ comedian shows off WNBA knowledge
Angel Reese was joined by Kansas based comedian Funny Marco on the latest episode of her 'Unapologetically Angel' podcast.

Angel Reese impressed by Funny Marco's ball knowledge
Comedian Funny Marco joined Angel Reese on the latest episode of her ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast. Throughout the offseason, Reese has been committed to her side venture as a podcast host. As she invited Marco onto her show, little did she know that the comedian had come into the podcast with some elite ball knowledge.
Throughout the podcast, Angel Reese and Funny Marco discussed a number of their personal life struggles, with a touch of ‘flirting’ in between. However, when Reese asked Marco about his preference between the NBA and the WNBA, she was taken aback by his answer. Marco revealed that he watches more WNBA than NBA, rattling off some ridiculous ball knowledge.
I really like the WNBA over the NBA… At the WNBA, I watched through the whole thing.
Marco told Reese on the podcast
Angel Reese was visibly taken aback upon hearing the social media star’s preference in basketball viewing. But Marco didn’t just stop there. He went on to ask Reese a question about her own thoughts on the current state of the WNBA.

He asked her about who she believes are the best shooters in the league at the moment. Angel Reese chose Caitlin Clark and Diana Taurasi before being called out by Marco for leaving out New York Liberty sharpshooter Sabrina Ionescu.
Let me see who do you think is the best shooter in the WNBA… You didn’t even say the first person. Sabrina.
Funny Marco remarked
To Reese’s surprise, Marco went on to name Seatle Storm guard Jewel Loyd as one of the best shooters in the WNBA. He even pointed out her apparent displeasure with the Storm. This prompted Reese to ask him to consider working with the Chicago Sky with his incredible ball knowledge.
Angel Reese set to represent Chicago Sky in WNBA draft lottery
Angel Reese will represent the Chicago Sky at the upcoming WNBA Draft Lottery on Sunday. The Sky will be looking to land near the top of the lottery to improve their chances for a breakout season in 2025. However, the Sky’s chances of landing the top pick and the opportunity to select projected star Paige Bueckers are out of their hands.
In a deal that sent Marina Mabrey to Chicago, Dallas gained the right to swap first-round picks if the Sky’s selection ends up higher after the lottery. Angel Reese’s appearance at the lottery comes at a transitional time for Chicago. The franchise recently replaced former head coach Teresa Weatherspoon with Tyler Marsh. Marsh was formerly an assistant with the Las Vegas Aces.
With shooting still a key need for the Sky after trading Mabrey to Connecticut, the draft outcome could define their path forward. They hope that Dallas will get the top pick in the draft so that the Sky can secure a high draft pick without fear of trading it.
The Sky will hope that sending their rookie sensation Angel Reese to the draft lottery will be a lucky charm during a much-needed time.
