Angel Reese claps back at haters again after purchasing her own house

WNBA and Chicago Sky superstar Angel Reese purchased a house

WNBA and Chicago Sky superstar Angel Reese has come a long way in life. Starting from being a five-star recruit to playing for her hometown Maryland Terrapins, to then transferring to LSU and winning a national title before moving on to the professional league.

In that span, she developed her brand and continued to do whatever was necessary to keep increasing her followers. Her active engagement on social media platforms along with her appearance at fashion shows, comedy events and others have made her a household name.

That endeavor saw the Sky star net massive endorsement deals with top brands. She also started a podcast and fueled its growth to become one of the fastest growing podcasts in the country. All that have helped to push her income.

She was doing all this because she wants to eventually become a billionaire. Naturally, her paltry WNBA salary would not help her goal. Rather it became the butt of jokes when she revealed she could not even pay her rent with that salary. Now, all of that money has helped her accomplish a personal goal.

They said ‘she need to cover up’ so I went cover on VOGUE
They said ‘she can’t afford her rent’ so I went & bought a house…..thank yaaaa

This was her clap back at the haters who have constantly criticized her from the start. She has now purchased a home as she revealed while paying off her mother’s mortgage. It is unclear where she purchased the house. It is most likely in Chicago considering she asked her mother to stay with her once she was completed the purchase.

Angel Reese’s manager reveals how hard she has worked for this

After finishing her rookie WNBA season with some records, the Chicago Sky started appearing at several events. At one point, rapper Joe Budden suggested that Angel Reese should slow down. But the basketball star’s manager reveals how hard she has worked to reach this point.

So proud of you!! All the hours, long shoot days, training and perfecting your craft has paid off. You deserve this, make sure my room has a silk pillowcase, waiting for me.

Jeanine Ogbonnaya has been working with Angel Reese over the past four years. She knows how the Sky forward has worked hard to become an elite basketball player as well as a brand. Her words reveal that Reese went through all the training to ensure that whenever she appears at events, she is perfect.

She also had to go through a lot of media training to ensure that her podcast was successful. That paid off as Unapologetically Angel racked up 100K subscribers on YouTube in a very short span of time. She is now looking towards the 250K mark.

WNBA season two should be much better than her rookie season

In her rookie season, Angel Reese was the dominant force on the interior. This season, the Chicago Sky have gone out and reinforced their team with quality veterans. They also dipped into the draft to select players with whom they can build a core for the future.

Training camp will officially open in two weeks. Considering how her Unrivaled season went, Sky fans should be ecstatic that the second-year star will look to bring those improvements to the WNBA. A lot of the Chicago Sky’s success rides on how she can use her elite motor to win them games.

Last season many fans accused the 22-year-old of stat-padding. This season, with a balanced roster, she might not have that many opportunities. Therefore, she will have to make the most of the fewer touches she will get underneath the rim.
