“He’s the white people savior!” Angel Reese garners support from ‘furious’ actress Amanda Seales against Emmanuel Acho

Actress Amanda Seales comes out in support of Angel Reese and goes on a tirade against Emmanuel Acho for his criticism of the WNBA star

Retired footballer and current analyst Emmanuel Acho recently came out criticizing former LSU superstar Angel Reese for her outburst after the NCAA Final Four. Those comments have been taken as a direct shot at the now WNBA star for having a dual mentality. Actress Amanda Seales came out in Reese’s defense by bashing Acho for his insensitive comments.

While on Club Shay Shay, host Shannon Sharpe brought up the topic of Angel Reese getting criticized by many people. Amanda Seales cut short Sharpe’s statement and went on a tirade.

She is a young person. Do you know how disgusting that is? That cornball… who loves to make himself look like he's the White people's savior... Cut it out, it's ridiculous.
Amanda Seales said

Essentially Seales bashed the analyst for his comments suggesting that Reese was using her position to get on the good side of everyone. She suggested that maybe Acho was the one who wanted to get on everyone’s good side.

To explain the backdrop, Angel Reese poured her heart out talking about how she was attacked on every level since she took on the villain role after the 2023 NCAA Championship. To this Acho said that Reese should not have cried being the victim after losing in a game.

So basically, Seales joined Taylor Rooks to call out Acho for suggesting that Reese switched her position of being the villain. Instead of taking the loss on the chin, Emmanuel Acho believes she talked about what she faced to deviate from the actual loss.

Angel Reese taking her competitive edge to the WNBA

Angel Reese has signed her first WNBA contract with the Chicago Sky. The contract, however, does not guarantee that she will be able to play. The WNBA is notorious for having several high draft picks to not end up on their teams. Restrictive roster spots have seen even a recent No. 1 draft pick not play in the WNBA. Therefore, Reese knows that her draft spot does not guarantee her a spot on the team. Unless the team make room for her.

She confirmed that she will be bringing her competitive edge to the training camp. She knows she has to fight for her spot. Although she is excited to team up with rival Kamilla Cardoso, she did say that both of them fighting for rebounds will only be good for the team.

Therefore, it is not a foregone conclusion that the Bayou Barbie will take her professional career lightly. She wants to fight for her spot every day and will ensure that her competitive edge helps her have a long WNBA career.
