As most fans are aware, Angel Reese’s relationship with Florida State star Cam’Ron Fletcher began in 2023, and it got to a point where she even got his name tattooed on her. However, not all good things last forever as the relationship, sadly, ended after a year.
However, Angel Reese, on a recent episode of her show, Unapologetically Angel, revealed that while the breakup was manageable, she regretted going public with it, as it brought her unwanted attention. She then vowed to keep future relationships private unless it’s a serious commitment like marriage.
I don’t think I’ll ever get in, like I had a public breakup but like obviously I didn’t get what you received. But I don’t think I would get into another public relationship unless I’m getting married.

The Chicago Sky’s ‘Queen of Rebounds’ had known Fletcher for six years, but as her basketball career progressed, their relationship faced challenges. Fletcher sustained an injury during a game against North Carolina, cutting his season short. Over time, the distance between them, exacerbated by Reese’s demanding travel schedule, may have contributed to their eventual split.
Due to her impressive rookie season, her personal life was also put under the spotlight. She was forced to discuss her dating preferences and then clarified rumors that involved NBA players Jalen Duren and Kevin Durant.
Angel Reese’s absence at Sky event fuels speculation amid busy offseason
In what was a much-needed rest, Angel Reese has had an eventful offseason after her first professional basketball season. She had been spotted at several NFL games across different cities and made headlines when she appeared on stage during Nick Cannon’s Wild ’N Out tour in Chicago.

However, in a twist of events, her appearance on that stage drew attention for another reason—her absence from a major Chicago Sky event that same day. The franchise had broken ground on their new $38 million training facility where several Sky players attended the event, but Reese was notably absent which raised questions about her commitment to the team.
Not knowing the full facts, rumors about a strained relationship between Reese and the organization started circulating, which was intensified after head coach Teresa Weatherspoon was fired in September. This led to Sky GM Jeff Pagliocca being asked about his relationship with Reese, especially after she posted cryptic messages on social media during the same time as the groundbreaking event.
