Angel Reese has grown to become the most popular WNBA player going by social media following. The Chicago Sky star has parlayed her record-breaking performances in her debut season to build upon the brand that was created during her college years.

She then pushed forward with ventures into the business world. Her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, has risen up the charts and along with her constant presence on social media platforms have elevated her brand even further.

That led to invitations to fashion shows where she mingled with celebrities. The Chicago Sky star also managed to bag enormous endorsements in the process, as brands wanted to associate with her rising stardom.

Her brand continued to grow and made her one of the most popular female athletes. But that was all within America. Now, she leveled up, as the 22-year-old was at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for the finale of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Angel Reese did not purchase tickets to watch the race, rather, she was part of a group of invitees from Formula 1 and their sponsors. Hollywood actor Terry Crews joined the WNBA rookie on the Yas Marina Circuit.

She witnessed Lando Norris win the race ahead of the Ferrari duo, which helped his team McLaren win the constructors championship for the first time in 26 years. Angel Reese then ended up meeting another Hollywood celeb in Taraji P. Henson, with whom she made an Instagram reel.

Taraji P. Henson had great words for Angel Reese

Taraji P. Henson is a multiple award winning actor and was nominated for the Academy Awards for her role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Such accolades should make her one that Angel Reese looks up to. But instead, in that reel, Henson said.

I am so proud of you. Just keep doing what you do. You are a force to be reckoned with in so many ways and not just on the court baby. In life you are a winner.

These words sent the WNBA rebounding phenom over the moon. She could not stop swaying knowing one of Hollywood’s big stars knew about her. The 54-year-old actress finished the video by mentioning that she was happy to meet the WNBA superstar.
