Angel Reese is having a great time attending a myriad of shows and sporting events as she unwinds after a grueling near ten months of basketball. She is also attempting hard to increase her brand value as she works with partners. Now the WNBA star joins one of the most illustrious brands in the world who have Lionel Messi and LeBron James as some of their ambassadors.

The brand in question is Beats by Dre, the consumer audio products manufacturer owned by Apple. A video clip of their latest commercial was posted on the social media accounts of the brand. It shows the likes of soccer stars Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, tennis stars Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, college football star Shedeur Sanders, NBA rookie Bronny James, and new MLB World Series winner Shohei Ohtani.

Angel Reese appears as the lone WNBA superstar along with NBA legend LeBron James. But more importantly for her, she was chosen to narrate the entire script of this commercial, which is a pretty remarkable achievement, considering she was the voice summing up the superstars and what they stand for.

Beats by Dre has been a supernova of a brand, signing up some of the best sporting stars and celebrities to endorse them. This becomes the latest feather in the cap for the Chicago Sky forward as she adds another billion-dollar brand to her list of supporters.

With this addition, she probably is climbing up the charts of some of the most highly paid women in sports. The others on the list have the advantage of massive salaries and winnings to help their positions. However, her lowly $74,000 salary from the WNBA has little chance of supporting the Chicago Sky rookie.

The WNBPA will enter negotiations for a new CBA which will start next season, but even then, it might not be enough. However, it seems the 22-year-old does not even bother about her professional salary. Instead, her appearances at top fashion shows, entertainment events, all are helping her grow her brand.

If she manages to continue signing endorsement deals, she could reach the top of the rich sports stars tier soon. She has indeed become a trailblazer in the world of women’s basketball, as no one in the league, past or present, has had the marketability as Angel Reese.

Caitlin Clark lets her play do the talking and does not bother much about other things. Reese on the other hand, uses both her basketball skills and her personality to great effect. With her career standing in front of her, this is only just the beginning.
