- Angel Reese playfully referenced LeBron James' viral moment during a game at the Kia Center.
- The Los Angeles Lakers have won nine consecutive games, with Luke Kennard hitting a game-winner against the Orlando Magic.
- LeBron James and Lakers teammates are strengthening their chemistry through golf outings after recent struggles.
No matter how big a celebrity or sports personality is, whenever LeBron James is in the vicinity, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar tends to become the most important entity.
That was evident when scores of accomplished athletes made their way on the Team USA Paris Olympics boat to meet, greet, and take pictures with the four-time NBA champion.
His exploits in basketball, along with his efforts to help the community and also speak out against injustice, have created an aura around the Akron native that few can match.
LeBron James is not without critics, as is normal whenever a superstar threatens to take the GOAT moniker from Michael Jordan. But even without it, others have found ways to point fingers at him, especially when he has sided with the other side.
WNBA superstar Angel Reese once tweeted against the Lakers’ superstar, but deleted the tweet after she received backlash from his supporters.
Then there is the fact that James supports her ‘rival,’ Caitlin Clark, which has many believing the LSU alum does not like the King at all. However, a recent clip may dispel those notions.
The clip shows Angel Reese and a friend, seated courtside at Kia Center, where her boyfriend, Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr., plays. When LeBron James was close to their seats, they started gesturing with their hands.

The clip played the 41-year-old’s viral ‘that ain’t our ball’ crashout from the 2020 NBA bubble, in the background, with the two ladies mouthing the words. This was Reese and her friend having fun in the presence of basketball’s most famous personality.
Lakers’ shot-winner played for LeBron James’ AAU team
Over the past several games, LeBron James’ elite performances have wiped out criticisms that he was detrimental to his Los Angeles Lakers.

The franchise has won nine straight games, with the oldest player in the league producing efficient basketball on both ends of the floor.
However, while battling for their ninth win in front of Angel Reese, the Lakers had to thank trade deadline acquisition Luke Kennard for hitting the game-winner.
The guard managed to get free and calmly downed the three-pointer, which gave the men in purple and gold the lead with .6 seconds left in the game.
One of the first to hug and celebrate with Kennard was LeBron James, and Bleacher Report unearthed that their relationship goes back years.

It so happens that the guard played in the four-time league MVPs’ AAU team. For someone who grew up in the same state as the NBA’s oldest player, he also finished with more points than James did in Ohio’s high school records.
LeBron James and Lakers teammates build chemistry through golf
The chemistry between Luke Kennard and the Los Angeles Lakers was already clear with the way the players ran over to hug and celebrate with him after his game-winner.
But in the past, many felt the team was fractured and that they did not have any chemistry between them, which was touted as the reason for their struggles in the middle of the season.
However, after their win against the Orlando Magic, LeBron James and some of the Lakers players decided to build on their chemistry. Known for its golf courses, some decided to play a few rounds.
Along with their oldest teammate were head coach JJ Redick, Luka Doncic, Kennard, Austin Reaves, Bronny James, assistant coach Greg St. Jean, and others.
Their final two road games before heading back home are against the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers. The latter is expected to be easy, as they have been struggling all season long.

The East leaders will not have leading superstar Cade Cunningham with them. However, the Lakers cannot take it casually, knowing the rest of the team can still embarrass them.
