WNBA and Chicago Sky superstar Angel Reese has been juggling her basketball career as well as her forays into the world of fashion.

Angel Reese has proven countless times that she takes whatever job or role in front of her seriously. Be it working on her game, proving her worth on the court, or working tirelessly to promote her brand, she has never shied away from a challenge.
The Chicago Sky star knows that to reach her goal of becoming a billionaire, she will need to take advantage of all the opportunities life throws in front of her. Reese continued appearing in events until the Unrivaled season started, after which, she worked on her basketball skills.
All that developmental work showed results as she looked patient and comfortable in the first preseason game. Their next game was a few days later, which also coincided with her birthday. But then, she was also a committee member of this year’s Met Gala, which was taking place the day before.
She slayed the Gala and was also captured at a club celebrating her birthday. She then reported for work the next day and contributed to their second preseason win. Considering how she has managed to do all that in a day, a clip from last year resurfaced.
A lot of people told me I shouldn’t have went to the Met Gala. I wasn’t going to be focused playing against the runners-up. I went to the Met Gala, slayed the Met Gala in New York. Came back, slayed against New York. It’s what I do. I’m not one-dimensional. Women don’t have to be one-dimensional.

This was from last year’s preseason game against the then-New York Liberty, who finished runner-up in the 2023 WNBA Finals. Ironically, Reese came back from the Met Gala to face the 2024 runner-up, the Minnesota Lynx. Angel Reese believes she can do multiple things at the same time.
Angel Reese was tired by the end of the hectic week
Angel Reese notched a double-double in their first preseason game on May 2nd. Since then, to May 6th, a lot has happened in her life. But she took advantage of all the time she had on her hands and tweeted this a day before the Met Gala.
We all got the same 24 hours. MAXIMIZE IT.

Then, after playing in the second preseason game, the now 23-year-old tweeted again.
Now i can tweet…. I MADE IT THROUGH, God DID cause whew chileeeee im TIREDDDD.

She was tired after the gruelling four days she had just gotten over. Practices, two games to begin and end with, the Met Gala, the afterparty, and then her birthday party in a club, which started off possible dating rumors with an Orlando Magic player.

Reese is proving her multi-dimensional capabilities every now and then. Thankfully, it was the preseason. Else, the Chicago Sky might not have given her the chance to appear at the Met Gala or any other important event.
Sky’s last preseason game will be another battle against Lynx
The Chicago Sky won their preseason game against the Minnesota Lynx yesterday. Angel Reese and her fellow starters contributed, but they were not the ones who helped their team win. Rather, it was their second unit comprising Reese’s former college teammate, Hailey Van Lith, and others who closed the game.

The two sides will meet again, this time in Minneapolis, on May 11th. Considering it will be the last preseason game, both teams will possibly try out regular-season game plans. That will help them figure out what they need to improve on before the season starts.
Reese and her new teammates might be gelling. But preseason games, at least the earlier ones, do not give a complete picture of how good or bad the team is. Games are not as competitive, and starters usually take it easy. But in this final game, they have a chance to figure out how good they can be.
