Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky overcame the New York Liberty 101-53 in a thrilling preseason game yesterday. Reese had a great game, as she ended up with 13 points and five rebounds against last season’s WNBA runners-up. 

Reese was up against one of the WNBA’s best players, Breanna Stewart, but didn’t back down as she held her ground when she faced her. During the third quarter of the game, she scored a tough basket against Stewart, which has drawn the praise of netizens on social media.

Furthermore, Reese’s game came just a night after she made an appearance at the Met Gala. Though it’s just preseason, her strong start to the WNBA after being drafted looks promising.
