Angel Reese supports TikTok video accusing rival Caitlin Clark’s fans of racism, fueling tension between fanbases.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
The popularity and traction of the WNBA this season can be attributed to the presence of rookies, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Sadly, the rivalry has taken an ugly turn as it has moved from their skills and performance night after night on the court to the color of their skin.
Recently, the racial tension was once again seen on social media, ignited by a fan on Tik Tok where she made claims about fans of Caitlin Clark. Adding fuel was Angel Reese, as she appeared to agree with what was insinuated by the user when she responded to the views.
This really confirms a lot of people were never Caitlin Clark fans… were just Angel Reese haters… didn't care about Caitlin Clark's skills… liked that she was a white woman performing exceptionally in a sport dominated by black women. The Tik Tok user @Theluncheonlawyer claimed

This is not the first time the rivalry between Reese and Clark has taken on an ugly state as there was an incident where WNBA legend, Sheryl Swoopes accused Clark’s fans of being ugly and evil. Also, her Chicago Sky rival had spoken out about threats received in the form of AI explicit photos.
It may seem that the Indiana Fever is taking the brunt on both sides. Recently, she wasn’t spared when she liked a post on social media that supported Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President, Kamala Harris. This action appeared to have upset her fans as well and with all the drama going on, it may distract the fans from the incredible work put in by the girls.
WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes revisits the Caitlin Clark debate
Caitlin Clark has not had a moment without being criticized or attacked, and one of her critics Sheryl Swoopes is back at it again. This time, she made a return to Gilbert Arenas’ ‘Gil’s Arena show,’ which fans might recall was where she made her false claims about Clark when she broke the NCAA scoring record.
During the interview, it was bound to be revisited as the host asked for clarity about her earlier stance when she said neither Clark nor Reese would dominate the WNBA. Although she praised the Rookie of the Year favorite, Clark for her impressive stats and performance she stopped short of tagging her play as being dominant.
Those are hell of a numbers. But to me that's not dominating.Sheryl stated on Gil’s Arena
Notwithstanding, Clark’s numbers speak for themselves. She has already broken the WNBA’s all-time single-season assists record and produced more points (through scoring and assists) than any player in league history. Regardless of what her critics have to say, she has dominated in her first WNBA season.
