Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese could not start her sophomore season the way she hoped. Over the last few games, however, she has been one of the most consistent elite players in the WNBA. Those performances were enough to garner a second All-Star call-up.
She has notched 9 straight double-doubles, and 4 of them have resulted in victories. Her improved passing game has helped the team unlock new levels of performance, and some analysts believe the Chicago Sky are on the verge of turning their season around.
These results have silenced the criticism she was receiving at the start of the season, as fans felt she spent way too much time focusing on fashion than developing her game. The 23-year-old has seemingly made fashion become second nature for her.
After several appearances at top-tier fashion shows, the Maryland native seems to have a good grasp on what she should wear. Earlier today, the WNBA rolled out the orange carpet for all its 2025 All-Stars. When Angel Reese walked on, the crowd inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse were stunned.

It seemed she brought all her experience mixing it up with the celebrities at fashion shows. The Sky star wore an animal print overcoat. Clips of her attire went viral as she slayed the photo sessions, the orange carpet walk, as well as the interviews.
Reese has been trying to let her play do the talking, and once it did, it seems fans are starting to appreciate the Chicago Sky star’s ability to make her mark on the court, as well as off it.
Angel Reese’s attire leaves fans in awe
Over the course of the offseason, basketball fans saw Angel Reese increase her popularity as she delved in the world of high-end fashion. They also saw her perform exceedingly well at the inaugural Unrivaled league.
To see both of those things culminate in her second year and in this manner, has fans believing she is a cut above the rest. After all that, to be one of the best dressed players at the 2025 All-Star weekend, was an added bonus. Fans took to social media to talk about the Maryland native’s stunning attire, examples of which are below:

Angel Reese will be looking to continue making an impact during this weekend. She will play on Sunday, and hopes to make a mark, much like how she did last time around. With her on-court performances, she is finding new fans who are beginning to admire her competitiveness.
Dwyane Wade compares Angel Reese to Draymond Green
Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade has been watching Angel Reese build a phenomenal brand around her image. While speaking on his podcast, the three-time NBA champion appreciated what she is doing to promote herself. He then went on to talk about how her game could make her one of the best.

She’s playing the game like a more aggressive Draymond Green. When it comes to how they are getting her the ball, how they are allowing her to run their offense, how she is making passes, how she is coming down the court rebounding.
Dwyane Wade said
The Miami Heat legend believes the new coaching staff have done a great job identifying how handing over the keys to their two-time All-Star can the help the team unlock new levels of performance.
Wade believes as a more potent version of Green, the impact has now come in the form of wins. He believes those wins will start to become a regular affair once they spend more time fine-tuning the offense and defense around her.
