The Orlando Magic have been trying to find their rhythm as they incorporate the improving Anthony Black and offseason trade acquisition Desmond Bane into their lineup.
The latter came in via a surprise trade, as no one expected the Memphis Grizzlies to give up on one of their core stars. Since he arrived, the Magic seem to have found a certain level of grit that was lacking in the past.
That grit has spread to the other players, notably among the young players on the roster. It was Bane’s old team, the Memphis Grizzlies, that took the lead in the first half of the NBA’s first-ever game in Berlin.
But in the second half, two native Germans, Franz and Moritz Wagner, along with their other young teammates, started showing the grit they had learned from Desmond Bane.
As they surged back, the game was still tied with a little more than two-and-a -half minutes to go. After the Grizzlies could not convert a shot, Anthony Black surged towards the opposite end, received the ball, took two dribbles, and threw down a monster dunk.

The crowd inside Uber Arena went wild as it was not just a regular dunk. The 21-year-old had, in fact, dunked with four Grizzlies trying to impede his shot.
Anthony Black’s dunk blows up social media
It is not unusual to see NBA stars dunking over other players. But for Anthony Black to take on four players at once sent social media into a frenzy.
Fans could not believe how he took on that many opponents at the same time, and still finished the job he started. After all, he has experience of being on the receiving end of such powerful dunks. Check out examples of those reactions below:

Anthony Black’s dunk was the last time the Memphis Grizzlies could tie the game, as his Orlando Magic used that deflating play to seal the 118-111 win.
Black and his teammates will resume their battle against the Grizzlies three days later, this time in London, England, at the famed The O2 Arena.
Anthony Black had no clue he dunked on four players
Anthony Black had a fruitful game starting at point guard with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists in their win. However, it was the dunk that will become a talking point over the next few days.

I didn’t know, they told me. I thought I was by myself.
Anthony Black told Mark Phillips
This was the 6′ 7″ guard’s reaction when Mark Phillips, aka social media comedian RDC, showed the Magic star a replay of the dunk. Phillips ended the conversation by letting the Texas native know that his dunk was the game-altering play.
“I thought I was by myself!” 😤🤯

When the two teams resume their battle in London, fans would expect Black to come up with something similar, or for the Grizzlies to get one back on his Magic.
If the Grizzlies’ primary superstar, Ja Morant, who is dead center in between trade rumors, plays in London, he would be the best candidate to resume the NBA’s high-flying activities in Europe.
