Bronny James joins Anthony Davis and LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers drafted the talented Dalton Knect from Tennessee as the 17th pick. With the second-round pick remaining, they scooped Bronny James at 55. The decision will pair Bronny and his father, LeBron James, as teammates. Now, Anthony Davis‘s feelings about teaming up with Bronny have come to surface.
During NBA on ESPN, insider Dave McMenamin reported about Davis’s thoughts on the Lakers potentially drafting Bronny. As such, McMenamin said Davis was on board with the decision of drafting Bronny. Davis even complimented the young star’s pre-draft combine performance.
I wouldn’t be mad at the team if we took him if he was still available at 55 and see where it goes from there.

Moreover, McMenamin revealed how Anthony Davis felt Bronny could prosper into an NBA superstar playing with a big man like himself. So far, Davis has had a positive outlook toward the future. Bronny’s addition to the team will likely make LeBron James sign a new contract. With the addition of JJ Redick as the new head coach, the Lakers will remain in the spotlight for next season.
Bronny James will likely start from the bench, as is the trend with new draft picks. He might make sporadic appearances off the bench until he impresses enough to have a major role in the team. It remains to be seen if the new draft pick will spend the majority of his time in the G-league getting better and ready for the big stage.

Less than a year back, Bronny James went into cardiac arrest during a USC practice session in July.
