When a basketball fan is asked how Anthony Edwards is a player, their eyes may light up. The Minnesota Timberwolves star has the skills, the athleticism, and the drive to take over games, and has also excited fans with his highlight reel plays.

Unfortunately, his campaign to win an NBA title this season fell short after he could not take the next step to reach the Finals. He has promised to work harder than anyone, and will be looking to go over film to see where he can improve.

Now that he is in the offseason, he is mostly at home, spending time with his daughter Aislynn and his girlfriend, Shannon Jackson. He has recently managed to get a step ahead of the mothers of his other children after handling matters through the court.

The star guard has a history of dating a lot of women. He apparently has four children with four different women. Other than them, he has also had relationships with other women, of whom there is no concrete evidence. A video shared by DJ Akademiks reveals a conversation he had with one of them.

In the conversation, the unidentified female tries to prove that the other woman Anthony Edwards has been seeing is not as good-looking as her. This woman is heard claiming that she should get his undivided attention since she is from out of town, is important, and hence should come first.

To this, the 23-year-old responds by clarifying that the other woman in this argument is very ‘fine’, and that is why he continues to talk to her. At this point, the other woman seems to lose ground, but the video stops there. Hence, it is unclear how the rest of the conversation went.

Once this clip was uploaded by DJ Akademiks, it went viral as basketball fans could not fathom how Anthony Edwards shut down one of his girlfriends. They were surprised he elevated a woman who is not in the vehicle, to show his preference for the woman sitting next to him.

There have been several rumors of him living a Casanova-esque lifestyle. The Minnesota Timberwolves superstar might not be bothered about public opinion, but in this case, fans were mostly in the guard’s corner.

They were laughing at the audacity of the other woman to berate another just to get in his good books. They were also happy that Edwards kept her in her place. Check out examples of those fan reactions below.

He (Anthony Edwards) is not actively recruiting Durant. He’s not a part of this process. He is in Atlanta doing his offseason workouts, he’s not involved.
