After consecutive Western Conference Finals finishes in 2024 and 2025, the Minnesota Timberwolves were expected to progress even further this year. Unfortunately, Edwards saw his 2025-26 campaign come to an end without a ring.

However, it looks like he finally did get a ring. Minnesota marriage records indicate Edwards is married to his longtime partner, Shannon Jackson. Based on the records, they tied the knot last week. The couple has been together since 2020.

Anthony Edwards was seen wearing a wedding ring at the Fanatics Fest. The newly married couple share a daughter, Aislynn, with each other. There are allegations that he shares children with other women as well.

One of them is Ayesha Howard. They have a one-year-old daughter together, and the two of them have been involved in a long, never-ending child support battle. While Edwards was not ready to be a part of the daughter’s life, he could not deny the relationship after Howard leaked his text messages.

A couple of days ago, he bagged a huge win in their battle over child support. The whole situation turned ugly as Edwards and Howard filed their claims in two different states. In the end, things worked out in favor of the Wolves star as a judge in Georgia ordered him to pay $3,222 a month in child support.

Anthony Edwards does not think that he is the face of the league

Anthony Edwards was drafted into the league as the number one pick in the 2020 NBA draft. He has shown significant growth with every passing season and has elevated his game to new heights this season.

He even took help from the legendary Michael Jordan in the offseason last year, and it showed last season. He came third in the scoring title race as he averaged 28.8 points, 5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 61 appearances.

During the Fanatics Fest, he was asked if he has accepted himself as one of the faces of the league.

I think the face of the league comes with a lot of responsibilities and I think one of those is winning a championship. I haven’t did that yet. Maybe Jalen Brunson or one of those guys.
