Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury set for August 7th or 14th in Saudi Arabia!

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua

It looks like Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter finally has a date for Joshua vs Tyson Fury. Over the past few months, Hearn has been receiving severe criticism for the slow nature of the negotiations, especially from Tyson Fury’s promoter Bob Arum.

In an interview with SkySports, Hearn revealed that the fight would take place either on the 7th of August or 14th of August, this year. The location is expected to be Saudi Arabia, but Hearn didn’t seem too pleased with announcing that it would take place in the middle-east.

I think it’s a very bad secret that the fight is happening in Saudi Arabia

Eddie Hearn was quoted as saying, “August 7th, August 14th. I think it’s a very bad secret that the fight is happening in Saudi Arabia. To be honest with you, I don’t mind giving you that information. Bob Arum [Fury’s US promoter] has already done it.” [via SkySports]

The fight will be a title unification bout for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Anthony Joshua holds four titles -the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles, whereas Tyson Fury holds the WBC and Ring magazine titles.

Anthony Joshua is frustrated with Tyson Fury!

If Bob Arum is frustrated with Eddie Hearn, it is just the opposite when it comes to their clients. Anthony Joshua has gone increasingly frustrated about Tyson Fury, as he asked ‘The Gypsy King’ to talk less and act more.

He tweeted, “Spartan.” I’m tired. My fans are tired. Your fans are tired. We’re all tired of the talk. Less talk. More action!@Tyson_Fury.”

Fury is yet to respond to AJ’s tweet.
