The long-awaited Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight has been made official and will take place on the 14th of August. The Brits are set to meet on the 14th of August in Saudi Arabia, Tyson Fury confirmed it on social media. Although the confirmation hasn’t come from the promoters of both the boxers, Fury made it quite evident with the caption, “massive announcement” FURY VS JOSHUA IS ON AUGUST 14 in The kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The worlds biggest sporting event all eyes on us.“
Fury also revealed that he was in contact with the Prince of Saudi Arabia – Khaled, who confirmed the same. In the video Fury exclaimed that he was ready to smash “Anthony Joshua on the biggest stage on Earth.”

Fury said he just got off the phone with Prince Khaled of Saudi Arabia. He had told him that the fight was 100 per cent on. Saying this Fury then told, “All eyes of the world will be on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.I cannot wait, repeat, cannot wait to smash Anthony Joshua on the biggest stage of all time. This is going to be the biggest sporting event ever to grace the planet Earth. Do not miss it. All eyes on us. See you all in Saudi.”
This will be Fury’s first fight since his history-making night against Deontay Wilder in February 2020, where he demolished Wilder. He let it loose after his win, and went back to his partying self. But over the last couple of months, he has been training pretty hard and is set to go.
Anthony Joshua on the other hand is coming off a win against Kubrat Pulev, only as recently as the 4th of December 2020. He has been training like “a madman” since that win, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn.
