Antonio Brown has been known to get under the nerves of celebrities. The former NFL wide receiver recently went after Caitlin Clark as he made fun of her physical appearance by comparing her to Mel Gibson. Subsequently, he was criticized by fans who called him out for being jealous and attempting to get some attention on himself.

In a surprising reverse move, Antonio Brown revealed on Jason Whitlock’s Fearless podcast that he did not mean to go after Caitlin Clark and that he recognizes her talent and skillset.

He kept his statement simple and to the point indicating that he does not harbor any ill will towards her. Brown went on to shed light on the impact that Caitlin Clark is having for women’s basketball.

Caitlin Clark took action against Antonio Brown for his previous comments

After Brown’s earlier remarks on Caitlin Clark’s physical appearance, the star simply just blocked him from her social media pages. The former wideout then posted a picture of being blocked by Clark on X and attempted to further take a dig at her. However, his latest statement shows that he seems to have immense respect for Clark for her contributions to women’s basketball.

He took it a step further as he expressed his intention to have a sit-down with Caitlin Clark and interview her shortly. The odds of this happening are very low, but Brown believes that Clark will get more media coverage and attention while being introduced to the football fanbase as well. What seems to have caused Brown to have a change of heart for Caitlin Clark?

Well, it turns out, his daughter looks up to the former Iowa Hawkeyes star. This caused Antonio Brown to also have a change of heart towards Clark and he is not really interested in having any beef with her. For now, he still remains blocked from her account. Caitlin Clark is busy doing her thing on the WNBA floor and is yet to respond to AB’s latest comments.
