Antonio Brown is healing! The king of controversy for once sounded remorseful for how he treated Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen during his Tampa Bay Buccaneers days.

The 35-year-old backtracked on his actions, creating a rift between him and Brady. He has never been the same since then, even trying to paint Bundchen in a bad light.

In the May 8 episode of Jason Whitlock’s ‘Fearless’ podcast, Brown agreed that he did cross the line with Brady.

He was shown the door right after he walked off the pitch against the New York Jets in the final game of the regular season. That was the last time AB appeared in an NFL fixture. Although he never officially announced his retirement from football, many believe that the door of a return closed for Brown a long time ago.

I feel like I walked off the field, dropped the song, used some stuff in regards to promoting… I think I knew what I was doing at that time and I think like looking back in regards of what was done, it could have been handled better.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won their second and Brady’s seventh Super Bowl, only a year before the 46-year-old announced that he would be retiring after that season. Bundchen was happy because their kids would finally spend more time with their father. However, Brady made a U-turn and opted to play for one more season.

Sources close to the Brazilian Super Model confirmed that she felt left out. In October 2022, the NFL power couple announced their divorce.

It was a mess, but the situation became worse after Brown posted alleged edited pictures of himself with Bundchen in bed. He later shared a couple of clicks from the Bucs Super Bowl winning day with the caption, “Did AB know already?”

The seven-time Pro Bowler perhaps wanted to imply that he was aware of the tension between Tom and Gisele. Not only that, he may well have known Bundchen’s secret relationship with jiu-jitsu teacher Joaquim Valente.

It’s an encouraging sign for Brown for trying to make amends for his past misdeeds, but some wounds take time to heal.
