With an 8-3 record, the Pittsburgh Steelers are aiming straight for the Vince Lombardi Trophy while leading the AFC North. While their defense is ranked among the top 10 in the league, led by TJ Watt, their offense also became explosive under starting quarterback Russell Wilson. The only area needing improvement is the wide receiver position to become a formidable force in the league.
Although the Steelers’ wide receiving squad has some weapons, including George Pickens and Najee Harris. However, they require additional depth. In an interesting turn of events, former Steelers star, Antonio Brown, has made a generous offer to the team to ascertain their Super Bowl odds this season.
The seven-time Pro Bowler has publicly extended an incredibly generous offer to his former team on social media, stating he is willing to play for free for the remaining season. This move could potentially lead them to the Super Bowl, ending nearly 15 years of drought.

Brown established his prominence as one of the best wide receivers in history during his tenure playing in Pittsburgh. He spent the first nine years of his career with the team, but their separation was far from smooth.
Steelers unlikely to welcome back Antonio Brown after controversial departure
Despite earning seven Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pros with the Steelers, Brown’s departure was contentious, as he burned all the bridges with the team by forcing a trade to another franchise. In an ideal scenario, the Steelers would have welcomed Brown with open arms, especially head coach Mike Tomlin, with whom he shares a strong bond.
However, despite their desperation to address the wide receiver No.2 position, they are unlikely to jeopardize the franchise’s reputation after the vociferous way Brown’s tenure ended.
After leaving the Steelers, he landed in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a move that is unforgettable due to his dramatic exit in 2021 when he infamously ripped off his jersey and walked away from the franchise at the age of 33. Despite his accomplishments as a wide receiver in the league, Brown has an infamous reputation, especially after he left a game against the New York Jets in the middle by walking off the MetLife Stadium.
