Antonio Conte gets involved in a fight with Juventus owner Andrea Agnelli

Juventus and Inter Milan played out the semi final of the Copa Italia and Juventus progressed to the final on an aggregate 2-1 win. They drew 0-0 on Tuesday night. There was a heated exchange between Juventus owner Andrea Agnelli and Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte.

Following the right Antonio Conte has demanded ‘ more respect’ in the game. Both Conte and Agnelli go back a long way since Antonio Conte used to coach Juventus before shifting to Chelsea.

Antonio Conte is a legendary Juventus player having player over 500 matches for them. He had returned to the club in 2011 to be the head coach of the club. However during his stay as manager he never had a good relationship with Andrea Agnelli.

In the preseason of the 2014 season things turned sour and Antonio Conte decided to quit leaving a bitter relationship between them. Moreover when he decided to join Juventus’s fierce rivals Inter Milan it further fuelled things up.

Throughout the game, Antonio Conte and Agnelli seemed to exchange insults and the same continued after the match. Conte refused to comment on what was said but did comment that education is very important.

“They should be more polite in my opinion. They need more sportsmanship and respect for those who work.”

In his post-match press conference, Conte added: “What happened at the end of the game? I have neither the desire nor the pleasure to comment on anything. I think that in all things there must be education. Enough.”
