Apex Legends has officially released a teaser for the newest legend to join the line-up, Apex Legends New character Valkyrie. This revelation has been released in the Apex Legends – Stories from the Outlands series. The lore and her ability has been released now by the developers.
The Apex Legends – Stories from the Outlands is the series which connects Titanfall 2’s universe to the Apex Legend universe. This gives the players insight on the new legends joining the game.

Apex Legends New character Valkyrie in Season 9
Lore
Apex Legends recently released a teaser of the Northstar lore and this is in direct relation to the Northstar class Stryder titan in Titanfall 2. Kairi, aka., Valkyrie is revealed to be the daughter of IMC pilot Viper.

Kairi blames Kuben Blisk, commander of IMC for her father’s death and hunts him down only to let him free at the end. However, in exchange she earns a spot in Apex Legends.
Abilities
Her leaked abilities are as follows:
- VTOL Jets (Passive) : Hold Jump to initiate VTOL Jets which makes the player hover in the air.
- Cluster Missile (tactical) : Fires a rocket that explodes many times.
- Skyward (ultimate) : Pressing once prepares for launch. Teammates interact with Valkyrie to join the launch. Pressing another time will launch all to the air and start skydiving.
She will be officially released on May 4th, 2021 which also marks the end of Apex Legends Season 8.
