Arman Tsarukyan intends to hold Benoit Saint-Denis accountable for his actions. After his incredible victory at UFC 300, Tsarukyan is expected to fight for the lightweight title soon. However, the fighter has no plans to sit idle and has agreed to participate in a grappling matchup against Saint-Denis. 

Ahead of the clash, Benoit Saint-Denis threatened the Armenian to choke him out. This didn’t sit well with Arman Tsarukyan who clapped back at the Frenchman. Tsarukyan claimed that he would destroy the fighter in front of his home crowd.

Tsarukyan recently announced his competing against Saint-Denis during an interview with Michael Bisping. It is scheduled to take place on May 18 in Paris, France. There will be five rounds of the competition, each lasting three minutes, and it will be held under the XDC promotion.

Tsarukyan’s confidence is pretty high after his latest decision win over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300. The fighter has already participated in an online back-and-forth with lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, talking about the fight. Given the popularity of the fighters, it has generated a certain level of intrigue among fans and experts.

As the rivalry between Arman Tsarukyan and Islam Makhachev has taken some momentum, the Dagestani accused Tsarukyan of being scared. Makhachev made fun of the Armenian for not taking a short-notice fight against him when UFC asked him to.

Tsarukyan responded by revealing that Makhachev wanted to take advantage of him with the short-notice fight. Former bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling commented supporting Tsarukyan’s patience ahead of the potential fight.

Short-notice title fights are risky business. I think he's making the right move. I rather see them at their best, with full camps, IF Dustin doesn't score the upset in June. Exciting times!

Makhachev is currently scheduled to fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 302. Going into the fight, Makhachev is the fan favorite however, the ‘Diamond’ can pull off an upset. The result of the fight will directly determine the next opponent for Tsarukyan.
