Arman Tsarukyan is undoubtedly one of the most talented fighters in the UFC lightweight division. The fighter has successfully carved his way to become the top candidate for the lightweight title. Remarkably, this journey to the pinnacle of MMA was never part of the Armenian fighter’s childhood plans.
Tsarukyan began his professional MMA career in 2015 and has since built an impressive record of 22 wins and 3 losses. His meteoric rise in the UFC includes victories over several top opponents. However, in a recent interview, Tsarukyan revealed the unconventional reasons that initially motivated him to pursue UFC.
When I was 19 years old, I already had 3-4 fights. I just told my friend, I just wanna get UFC, get on my Instagram verification and the uniform from UFC and that’s it. I don’t want anything from this sport but then I keep winning the fights and people started to tell me that you are a good fighter.

They fought before already but it’s pretty similar to this last match-up. It comes down to endurance pressure and who wants it more…. Islam is a better striker. People don’t give him credit for what he deserves because he’s good on the feet, he can hit hard.
