WWE Hall of Famer confirms departure from AEW after nearly five years with the company
Arn Anderson ends his long tenure with AEW and Tony Khan.

Arn Anderson announces leaving AEW (via AEW)
Arn Anderson has been with AEW nearly since its inception. He has served as a mentor and coach for wrestling talent. Further, he has also served as an on-screen manager for the likes of Cody Rhodes and Wardlow. However, it is now time for the wrestling legend to part ways with the company.
Speaking on The ARN Show, Anderson announced that he would be leaving AEW on May 31st, coinciding with the expiry of his contract. He was grateful to have spent 42 years in the wrestling business. He reiterated that the business did not owe him anything, whereas he owed everything to the business.

The Four Horsemen member deemed himself fortunate to be able to work with AEW and Tony Khan during the tail end of his career. He sang the AEW CEO’s praises, calling him a great human being. He appreciated him for giving the wrestling world another option. Khan had created a new category of what pro wrestling can be.
This coming, May 31, is the last date on my contract, and I just want to say thank you, I appreciate everything and that goes to everybody who works there.Arn Anderson on The ARN Show
Before departing, Anderson wanted to thank everybody who worked with him in the company. He appreciated the company for giving him the opportunity and promised his fans that this would not be the last of him in the wrestling world.
Is Arn Anderson going to WWE?
Upon hearing of Anderson’s departure from the Jacksonville-based company, many fans wondered if this could mean The Enforcer returning to WWE, perhaps for one final time. Several netizens wanted to see him return as Cody Rhodes‘ manager. After all, The American Nightmare himself has expressed his desire for a manager during his championship reign.

Arn Anderson wished to spend the rest of his time in the wrestling business with his son, Brock Anderson. He believed that the young superstar would one day be a major player for a wrestling promotion. He wanted to help his son get the experience and was going to devote his time to teaching his son. Therefore, it is unlikely that the Hall of Famer is WWE-bound.
If Brock Anderson makes it to WWE one day, there is a chance that his father might accompany him. Otherwise, it is unlikely that the Four Horseman members will appear on SmackDown and stand alongside the WWE Undisputed Champion.
