Arne Slot‘s Liverpool sits atop the Premier League with a four-point lead. Despite the club’s dominant position, the manager sent a strong message to the rest of the teams in the League.

With upcoming games against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City, the Dutch boss is confident that his side has more up its sleeve. Liverpool‘s biggest weapon this season has been none other than Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah.

The winger has scored 13 goals in the Premier League while setting up another 8. Virgil van Dijk has been solid at the back, with Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and Curtis Jones also in impressive form.

Even though the club desperately needs to renew the contracts of Salah, Van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Slot has dismissed the issue as being a top priority.

Liverpool also plays Southampton in the EFL Cup quarter final later this month. With a perfect record in the Champions League, the Reds are in first position above Barcelona and Arsenal.

Arne Slot names side better than Reds ahead of Fulham clash

Liverpool prepare to take on Fulham at Anfield on Saturday as the tenth-placed side looks to climb up the table. Ahead of the clash, Arne Slot spoke to the press, as he heaped unexpected praise on rivals Chelsea.

As things stand, the Reds enjoy a four-point lead with a game in hand over the Blues. Despite the advantage, Slot admitted that Enzo Maresca‘s side is ‘better’ than his at the moment.

The only game where I felt that the other team was better than us during the game was Chelsea. It is still my opinion.

The Dutchman, however, did not make a prediction as to where the Blues will finish at the end of the season. Recently, Brentford boss Thomas Frank also named Chelsea as the most in-form side over Liverpool.

Slot was recently named as the manager of the month for November, while Mohamed Salah took home the Player of the Month award. Liverpool hasn’t known defeat in the last 18 outings and will look to maintain its perfect record in the UCL as well.

Will Liverpool continue to dominate in all competitions, or will inevitable loss of form end its season? Only time will tell.
