With the pre transfer season period heating up top clubs are eager to bid for some of the brightest talents of European football. The recent transfer link-up of Norwich City FC right-back Max Aarons to Arsenal FC is making rounds at the moment. According to reports Gunners are keen to add Max Aarons as Hector Bellerin’s replacement for 30 million pound valuation.

The 22-year-old has impressed the club bosses as well as the team management with some impressive showing for The Canaries. Aarons has impressed everyone with his controlled possession, his ability to win the ball with his speed and clever marking as well as positioning. The youngster’s capabilities and instant on-field decision making have made everyone take notice.

The right-back has showcased solidity to thwart the opposition’s counter-attacks with his tenacious tackles and accelerating interceptions. Playing for Arsenal FC could make Aarons technically sound and strategically more aware of his strengths which would enable him to improve tactically while playing alongside and against some of the big names in English football. With veteran defender David Luiz about to leave as a free agent and right-back Hector Bellerin also about to leave in the next season Aarons’ role could become all the more crucial for Arsenal if he signs the deal.

His strategic collusion with centre back Rob Holding and left-back Keiran Tiernay will be a key factor as both these defenders can dominate offensively and have showcased fine decision making to implement timely clearances. Aarons can dominate in the air and can be a destructive shooter inside the box with his devastating headers during set-piece situations. He has also scored 2 goals in 44 EFL Championship games this season with 4 assists to his name.

It is still early to predict the youngster’s role and responsibility in the side if the deal materializes but it will provide him with a platform to fine-tune his skills and grow temperamentally while playing for such a big team. Aarons need to be given enough game time by Arteta which would upgrade his skills and make him adaptable to different conditions, situations and as per the opposition’s game plan.

The right-back needs to show consistency given the competition in English football. It could open the doors for a bright future for Aarons if the deal materializes and could be a game-changer for the Gunners in the long run.
