English news outlet The Mirror has reported that Raheem Sterling will not continue at Arsenal after his loan tenure ends at the end of the season. The Englishman has failed to show the spark and display consistent performances during his time at Emirates. Hence, he is set to return back to Chelsea.
The Gunners signed the player from Chelsea at the last minute of the summer transfer window. They were desperate for a winger at that moment and had high expectations from the player. However, Sterling did not impress Arsenal fans and Mikel Arteta. His performances have made him out-of-favor under Arteta, and they were even ready to cancel his loan prematurely in the January transfer window.
Sterling has not scored any goals so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. He has taken three shots in nine matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. Out of the three shots, zero shots were on target, and the other three shots were off target. Sterling has assisted one goal in nine matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season, playing just 215 minutes.
The Gunners will be looking into the summer transfer window for a winger who could perform well for the club and compete with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. So, it is quite sure that Sterling will make his way back into the Stamford Bridge. Now, it remains up to Chelsea whether they will retain him or sell him.
Chelsea want to sign Dylan Thomas in the summer transfer window
Fichajes has reported that Chelsea are targeting the summer transfer window and are scouring the market for a young attacking prodigy. Their attention have turned to the 16-year-old Dylan Thomas from New York City FC. Enzo Maresca is ready to spend even €25 million to sign the 16-year-old player in the summer.
At just 16 years old, his agility, vision, and ball control stand out, making him a promising attacking prospect. His ability to navigate through defences with speed and precision is noteworthy. However, as he has yet to make his first-team debut, much of his potential remains to be seen. Chelsea have been the breeding place for many young talents, and they are reportedly targeting him as a future star.
Selling him for €25 million would turn out to be a gold dust for a club like New York City FC. However, the move won’t be feasible until the player turns 18-year-old. As such, the Blues will be looking to make his signing the priority by spending €25 million for him.
