English news outlet The Mirror has reported that Raheem Sterling will not continue at Arsenal after his loan tenure ends at the end of the season. The Englishman has failed to show the spark and display consistent performances during his time at Emirates. Hence, he is set to return back to Chelsea.
The Gunners signed the player from Chelsea at the last minute of the summer transfer window. They were desperate for a winger at that moment and had high expectations from the player. However, Sterling did not impress Arsenal fans and Mikel Arteta. His performances have made him out-of-favor under Arteta, and they were even ready to cancel his loan prematurely in the January transfer window.

Selling him for €25 million would turn out to be a gold dust for a club like New York City FC. However, the move won’t be feasible until the player turns 18-year-old. As such, the Blues will be looking to make his signing the priority by spending €25 million for him.
