Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing an exciting talent. They have engaged in a three-way battle to sign young Borussia Dortmund talent Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The 20-year-old winger has been in superb form this season, having scored seven goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens most recently scored a brilliant goal for the club against Dinamo Zagreb in a 3-0 UCL victory. With the goal, he became just the third England U21 player to score more than four goals in a single UCL season. His most memorable goal came against Real Madrid, when he scored in a 5-2 defeat, to become the youngest Englishman to score against Los Blancos.

The English star’s marvelous rise has attracted a number of suitors. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens had previously admitted that he wants to return to his home nation in the future. The England U21 star had moved to Germany in 2022, after having graduated from Manchester City’s academy.

Since his move to Dortmund, Gittens has made 76 appearances, and scored 12 goals and 13 assists. However, his massive €100 million asking price could pose a hindrance.

In case Liverpool decides to go for the 20-year-old, he would be a perfect long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to depart next summer. Arsenal and Chelsea on the other hand, are looking for quality options as backup for their right winger position.

Arsenal are currently nine points behind Liverpool in the EPL table, but hope to make a comeback following skipper Martin Odegaard’s return. Ahead of Man City vs. Liverpool clash, Arteta explained how he awaited a slump for the Reds in the middle of the season, while discussing the difficulty in retaining such a high level. He also added that such a situation cannot be controlled by any team.

Everything has to go your way, and sadly when you think you have it, one day it collapses… it can happen at any moment and we have to be ready for that.
